A little about how we fell in love

On September 27th, 2004 at precisely 9:46:18PM, chocolateluver88 sent whatsup21 an AOL instant message that would change their lives forever: "I think you're amazing, Steve!" After this first conversation, there followed a happy blur of dates at the diner with hot chocolate and root beer floats, countless evening strolls around downtown Summit, and exciting explorations of New York City. They were just a couple of kids surprised by how quickly "like" seemed to turn into love.

However, when high school ended, Rose and Steve made the tough decision to explore their next steps in college alone. While Steve was studying in Montreal, and Rose in Ewing, NJ, they toyed with the idea of getting back together, eventually trying it and deciding against it. Finally, by Junior year of college, Rose and Steve had each done enough growing to realize that they needed to be together. Steve took the long bus ride down from Montreal one Winter weekend in 2010 and they've been together ever since.

The long distance was tough, but each visit was like a wonderful mini vacation. When in Montreal, they would bike across the city to study at different cafes, and eat large quantities of poutine and Fairmont bagels. When in Ewing, they would feast on Trenton tomato pies at DeLorenzo's, explore the Italian market in Philadelphia, and sip Mexican hot chocolates in Princeton.

Still, Rose and Steve were really looking forward to when they could be together ALL of the time. In senior year of college, Rose got accepted to a PhD program in Boston, and there was no question at all - Steve was coming with her. Steve quickly got a job in Boston too. Now, four years passed, six 4000-footers climbed, and a hundred New England beers drank...they are finally getting married!!!
